time to get over the fear of driving

So Christmas and New Years came and past. Spending the holidays with family and my circle of closest friends is always a joy =D it was also my first time doing secret santa, so that made it extra special.

And then i did a lil shopping again cuz of the post-holiday sales! I've been wanting a gray peacoat for a long while, but couldn't find one with a hood and zipper-lined instead of buttons at a good price. and then i'm window shopping in h&m and see gray peacoats at 50% OFF Y(O_O)Y....i would say they're of pretty good quality, and not the ones where you see lint stuff on it or rough feeling. there was only 1 size left, but i can still wear it if i didn't wear more than 2 layers underneath it ==> spring time then! but it didn't have a hood nor was it zipper-lined, but i STILL couldn't resist the price. with an unfinished gift card, the final cost came out to be $11!!!!!! outrageous!

sports authority was also having a sale and got snow pants for my lil bro cuz he will be taking a snowboarding course when he goes back to college. i also went to paragon sports to get him goggles since i had a promotional gift card there, but i've had it for a year now and was worried that it might have expired, but no exp date was indicated. when i showed them the gift cards, the manager told me it had expired last april lols and so i responded that there was no exp date on it, so how was i supposed to know. he apologized and said their new gifts cards have exp dates. that ticked me off and thought i had lost the fight, but i was about to pay when the manager told the cashier not to swipe my credit card yet. they ended up letting it go since "I didn't know", but they just didn't want to blame themselves for not placing an exp date on it. but anyways, that was a funny turn of events and both me and my lil bro almost couldn't hold our giggles inside as we left the store.

yea, i like to save.
Knowing i saved $$$ makes me happy =D

I've been putting it off for a so long now, just like getting my permit. But I'm just tired of answering that I don't have a license when ppl ask me if i can drive, esp if it's from job recruiters. I've been so scared too, just thinking about getting behind the wheel and driving the highway completely freaks me out. I've never even touched the steering wheel.  But I signed up for lessons today, and didn't even know i had been holding back my breath as i was doing the registration until i left the place. it was small, had yellow lighting which made everything look ..old, and pretty shabby looking and smelled like cigar smoke, but with a faint sweet scent. it even left that odor on my coat that i had been wearing =/  ...so now, all i can do is just hope for the best aand.. see how it goes. i'll be updating on my driving experience cuz i know years from now, when i read this, if ever again, i'm gonna be

I feel like going karaoke...listening to some really good songs that just makes me want to get up and dance like
Nelly's "Just a Dream",
Natasha Bedingfield's album "Strip Me" esp the tracks "Weightless" and "Neon Lights",
B.o.B's "Airplane",
Bruno Mars's songs (just loving the lyrics), and
Ke$ha's album "Cannibal" and though her songs sound trashy, this album was still quite catchy to me.

aigoo...time to check how much money left in the bank *winces*
